COSMETIC BROW TATTOO

The Ombre technique uses a machine to implant pigment into the brow creating a soft powder result similar to if you had filled your brows in. The term ‘ombre’ refers to the brows being softer and lighter through the fronts of the brow while being more full and defined through the tails.

  • The choice of colours depends on your skin tone, the colour of your hair and eyes and your desired results selecting a custom mix to create the best match for you.

  • The treatment area will be mapped to your facial features and designed by our cosmetic tattoo specialists to work to enhance your natural features.

  • The design is fully approved by you before we commence the treatment.

  • Anaesthetics are used to numb the treatment area during the procedure to ensure maximum comfort.

  • Aftercare cream to apply over the healing stage.


LIP BLUSH

$750 | 3 hours

Lip blush is performed by implanting pigment into the lip creating a natural enhancement to your colour and shape similar to a lip tint. This treatment can restore your lip border, add an even and fresh colour and slightly adjust the shape and size of your lips.

COLOUR REFRESH

6-8 weeks touchup | $100

Color refresh will be performed between the period 6-8 weeks following your first appointment anything past this point will be at an extra cost. All touch-up pricing is for existing clients only, we do not do tattoo clients who have had previous tattooing done elsewhere unless they have sent us photos and we have agreed to correct it.

  • WE CAN NOT TATTOO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Pregnant or breast-feeding women

    • Acne medication within the past 12 months

    • Undergone chemotherapy within the past 12 months

    • Prone to keloid scarring

    • Diabetics or clients with heart conditions or epilepsy

    • Dermatitis, eczema, acne or sunburn in the area to be tattooed

    • Opioids or steroid medications

    • Some autoimmune conditions

    • Overly red or delicate skin

    • Extremely sensitive skin

    • Must be over 18 years of age

    • We will not tattoo over any blemishes, sores or moles in or around the area.

  • Yes a $200 deposit is required to secure all bookings. Due to the nature of the treatment this is non refundable for any cancellations or rescheduled appointments within 5 business days of your appointment, this includes touchups.

  • Our treatments are generally extremely comfortable and many clients are very relaxed or even fall asleep during their treatments. Anaesthetics are used to numb the treatment area during the procedure to ensure maximum comfort. Some clients may experience slight discomfort, but it is uncommon.

  • Two treatments are usually needed - your initial appointment followed by a 6-8 week follow-up to review your results and make any adjustments if required. Cosmetic tattooing lasts 1-3 years depending on each individual we recommend a colour booster within this timeframe.

  • If your appointment is booked during an outbreak of cold sores on your lips the procedure cannot be done.

    Please be aware that if you have the herpes simplex virus, the treatment may trigger an outbreak. If you have this virus it is absolutely essential to take an anti-viral medication such as Zovirax 5 days before, on the day of, and 5 days after your treatment or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist.

PREPARATION

    Medical-grade anaesthetic is to ensure you’ll be comfortable throughout the entire treatment you’ll only feel a minor vibration in the treated area. Following the Medicines, poisons and therapeutic goods act 2008 we cannot supply our customers with topical numbing creams. This will need to be ordered one week before your appointment to make sure it gets here on time as it will get sent to the salon.

  • • Do not use any lash or brow-enhancing serums in the treatment area for at least 30 days prior to treatment.

    • No tinting, dye or brow lamination within 4 weeks before brow appointments. We aim to colour-match according to your natural tones and to allow your brows to grow as much as possible, so we can shape and style them for you.

    • Cease retinol use in the area 4 weeks prior to treatment

  • • No direct sun exposure 2 weeks prior to treatment.

    •No injectables in the area to be treated for 2 weeks on either side of your appointment

  • • Cease intake of fish oil supplements one week before treatment.

    • You may have your skin waxed/tidied prior to your appointment if you choose to but it is not required. If you choose to please ensure this is not within 1 week of your appointment.

  • • Do not take Nurofen or any other blood thinning medication 24 hours prior to treatment.

    • Do not consume alcohol within 24 hours prior to treatment.

  • • Do not consume caffeinated beverages or consume blood thinners such as nurofen on the morning of your treatment.

    • It is recommended to wash your hair the morning of your appointment as it will be more difficult to do so for the duration of your aftercare following your procedure.

    • Wear dark colours / black to your appointment, as the pigment can sometimes flick around and stain clothing.

    •Arrive with no makeup on and clean skin.

    • Arrive by yourself, we have a strict policy for no guests in the treatment room.

    • Sunburn or freshly tanned skin you will need to reschedule and the deposit will not be refunded.

AFTERCARE

  • • 10 days of aftercare.

    • Do not touch the tattooed area with your fingers as it is an open wound.

    • Do not wet your brows for 10 days.

    • No excessive sweating or heat for 10 days.

    • Dry heal the brows; no creams, gels or ointments required. Please clean over the area 1-2x a day with a damp cotton round and avoid excessive sweating or full submerging brows in water until healed

    • After this 10 day period you may cease applying cream and resume your normal routine.

  • • Colour will appear dark for the first few days and may stay like this for up to a week.

    • Brows will start to scab, peel or flake and this is totally normal!

    • Do not pick the shedding skin.

    • Once the skin has finished shedding brows will then appear extremely light but the colour will return after a couple of weeks.

    • Once healed, patchiness is normal and will be adjusted accordingly at your touch-up.

    • Exfoliation takes place as the treated area is settling down and itching may occur. This is a good sign as it means the skin is healing. The top layer of the skin peels off, leaving a softer, lighter colour below.

    • True results are not revealed until weeks 6-8 of the healing process. Please be mindful that all skin heals differently and results vary for each individual.

  • Clients require a follow-up appointment 6-8 weeks after at an additional cost of $100. This is to review your results and make any adjustments if required. This treatment will have to follow the same precautions as the first tattoo. Cosmetic tattooing lasts 1-3 years depending on each individual we recommend a colour booster within this timeframe.
